Chester’s Story

When Chester John Morris was born on January 4, 1907, in Minnesota, his father, John, was 35 and his mother, Louise, was 21. He married Constance Bailey on August 15, 1937, in St Louis, Minnesota. They had three children in 16 years. According to his draft card, Chester had worked for the Union Pacific railroad, based out of the Union Depot in Duluth Minnesota. He died on May 7, 1978, in St Louis, Minnesota, at the age of 71, and was buried in Duluth, Minnesota.
